Setting up portfolio

The conducted analysis identified Rapid Prototyping Technology (RPT) and Lean Manufacturing (LEAN) as the best connecting point between the universities and the enterprises. This technology has ever more growing application in technical and engineering sciences, whereas it is being applied widely across industries. That is why it is very important for the students of technical faculties to get familiar with this technology, since they will need these skills in their future work. On the other hand, enterprises, especially SMEs and start-ups need this technology to enable their innovation, or at least to shorten its way to commercialisation. The mix of these two technologies is used to develop products/services, process and organisational innovation. In order to unleash their full potential, each Commercialisation Hub will develop its tailor-made Portfolio of instruments and services, with a full support of all project partners.
