The mission of 3D Centar is to enhance cooperation between innovative and entrepreneurial academic staff, researchers and students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of University of Montenegro and industrial companies and small and medium enterprises.

The following goals of 3D Centar are set in order to fulfill its mission:

– Improvement of entrepreneurially oriented teaching by including employers and other stakeholders into curricula development and participation of invited lecturers from business sector

– Support of innovative and entrepreneurial activities of academic and student community

– Improvement of research and professional cooperation of academic and student community with industrial companies, small and medium enterprises

– Support for commercialization of results of innovative activities of academic and student community regarding licensing and patenting

The vision of 3D Centar is to be a regionally recognized center for the development of innovative and entrepreneurial ideas in the field of mechanical engineering by encouraging creativity of academic staff, researchers and student through cooperation between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and industrial companies and small and medium enterprises.

Portfolio of services and instruments of 3D Centar involves a few different categories of  services and instruments as follows:

Trainings: 3D modelling trainings, FEA trainings, 3D printing training, 3D scanning training, Lean management and QMS trainings

FEA services: Analysis and simulations, Optimization

3D printing services: Design for 3D printing and additive manufacturing with FFF and SLA 3D printers

3D scanning services: Dimensional inspection, Reverse engineering

Product design: Design from idea to rapid prototype

Lean managment and QMS services: Lean management services, QMS services
